Maryland MGMA Legislative Delegation Meets with Federal Legislators
On June 4, members of the Maryland MGMA legislative delegation met with staff members of our federal legislators to discuss the impending cuts in Medicare reimbursement. More information will be provided upon their return.

Claim Reconsideration Request Form: A revised UnitedHealthcare Claim Reconsideration Request Form
is now available for immediate use by contracted physicians,
hospitals and other health care professionals when requesting a claim
reconsideration or formal appeal for members enrolled in commercial
benefit plans administered by UnitedHealthcare and Medicare benefit
plans administered by SecureHorizons and Evercare.
New United Voice Portal Call Flow: Like to contact UnitedHealthcare by phone? If you do, we have the
tool for you. We recently created a Quick Reference tool on navigating
the United Voice Portal. This tool is posted on UnitedHealthcareOnline.
com as a handy reference. Physicians and health care professionals
can save time by obtaining accurate answers to their questions using
the United Voice Portal. The Quick Reference gives a process overview
of the call routing as well as step-by-step instructions on obtaining
specific information.
