Programs
Maryland MGMA has three educational programs designed to meet the needs of its membership and which focus on three distinct levels of medical practice staff. For educational purposes, we define our membership as:
- Level 1: Operations, billing, coding and reimbursement staff
- Level 2: Supervisors and managers
- Level 3: Executive staff and physicians
The content of each program is prepared in conjunction with the ACMPE Learning Domains and is approved for continuing education units.

There are five programs, each offered in two locations in alternating months. Each program has an audience of 40-50 individuals and includes a half-hour for networking.
The educational aspect begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 10:30 AM. The program agenda includes: insurance carrier updates, a featured presentation on a matter related to billing and reimbursement.
Carrier representatives remain after the program for one-on-one consultation and discussion. This is a great opportunity to make direct contact with payers!
Registration is required. Maryland MGMA members can register free of charge. Nonmembers are welcome; there is a nominal fee of $30. Please visit our calendar for dates, locations and content.
Develop a positive working relationship with the payers!
