Membership
Membership in Maryland MGMA is individual not organizational and is not transferable. The membership year is from January 1 to December 31. Our membership fee includes waived registration to each Reimbursement Meeting, Practice Operations Meeting and Executive Forum.
Your peers represent private and academic practices,
ambulatory surgical and community health centers, health
care delivery systems, and management services organizations
from across the state. Over two-thirds of our membership is
from private practice and crosses all clinical specialties. Our
membership includes:

Maryland MGMA ended 2009 with 592 members state-wide. Over 80% of our members are employed by medical practices, integrated delivery systems, billing/reimbursement companies and MSOs. We represent 242 medical practices and 5,700+ physicians.
In terms of job responsibilities, our members are employed as:

- 12% Billing and Collections Staff
- 16% Physicians, Financial Professionals, Consultants and Office Support
