ACMPE Certification

Attain respected board certification in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), followed by professional designation as a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE). With the opportunities only ACMPE provides, it's all within your reach!

Your ability to grow and lead is limited without a solid base of medical practice management knowledge. The Body of Knowledge for Medical Practice Management is the foundation for ACMPE's self-assessments, examinations and leadership programs - as well as its ongoing contribution to medical practices. It's your assurance of ACMPE's commitment to your personal success.

To assist in the certification process, we provide Study Sessions [in-person and teleconference] and the opportunity to present before your peers at our educational programs. To date, Maryland MGMA has 7 Fellows, 16 certified medical practice executives and 22 nominees.

Each of our educational programs are reviewed and approved for continuing education units [CEUs] from the ACMPE. In a given year, ACMPE members can earn up to 30 CEUs with attendance at our educational programs.

This CEU approval is respected by other professional associations for their members. These include, but are not limited to: AAPCAHIMA and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Be sure to request a Certificate of Completion after each program you attend. The certificate will contain all of the necessary information for submission to your licensing association.
